RIFs will continue through the end of the year. Many notified this past week with termination date of Dec. 18th. Humana just experienced some of the worst scores in their annual associate survey. Those RIFed are probably the lucky ones!

RIFs in Wellness this week.
Last year, the RIF had people’s last day In January, so the warn notice may not be related to and end date this calendar year

I know of a department that was told RIFs were coming but they have not been given HR formal RIF package notice yet. Half the department or more going bye-bye.
They have to give you at least 60 days… they are allowed to give you longer… so you may get a notice you are rif’d and your term date be 90 days out…
We need to know areas/departments involved!
But to have the 60 days notice the termination date would be earlier than last week. By law they have to follow that 60 day notice.
