That is exactly what they will do. Send you papers to sign, and a prepaid package to put your stuff in: laptop, dock, corporate phone, corporate amex, badge, and etc. If you don't sign or return these items, then you don't get your serverance package at the end of your 60 days notification period. Depending on your tenure, this could be up to almost 1 year of base pay, and minimally 6 months of base pay depending on grade, plus lump CORBA payments. Why would you not sign and comply? For most this is a pretty good package.

Stop speculation and enjoy your weekend. Layoffs are not scheduled to happen before integration. Please wait for 2 more weeks.

I wouldn't make one move to go and return anything if laid off. They can pay to send you an empty box for your equipment if they wish it back. Don't do them any favors

They will overnight paper work to ypu that needs to be signed, including packing for your equipement oike laptop, dock, corporate amex, badge, phone if applicable. This will all be prepraidmand just need to pack and drop off… Fedex or UPS not sure,

My main concern is what am I supposed to do with my WFH equipment like the docking station, keyboard, monitors or even laptop? Ship it back or drive it into the office or something else? How would the logistics work anyone know?

Strength and honor, this sounds like a sequence out of the movie Gladiator starring Russell Crowe.
