What dept is getting rif? Someone knows!

Maybe the RIF are going through some anger, hurt and confusion and need to deal with their new reality vs you wanting them to spill the beans….you may find out and it may not be on your time table….and unless they found the official list from HR, no one knows if they are impacted until they’re told. Assume the worst, you will be RIFd. Prepare the best you can
@lyt+1phW1pSe- If people post on this forum that they know departments that are being laid off then instead of just saying it, they need to say which departments are impacted. It’s really stupid to throw little crumbs out there for people. And my experience in over a decade at H has been that there are people that know which departments are being impacted. Prior to the impact.
Sometimes, people can’t post it. If some other department is being impacted, yours isn’t, and for someone to tell you which department doesn’t really after, how does it impact you? In my over decade of being with Humana, with the RIFs, we were never told the other departments, it wasn’t like,”the CMs are next”….we’ve been told “percentages across the board” type stuff. Generally, you hear about who was impacted after it happens, at least after the email goes out. If it’s a percentage RIF, it’s not going to matter what departments
