Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Broken systems, inept company

Former employee here that has moved on to much greener pastures, but, in true Fiserv passion, they continue to be a thorn in my side. It’s been 5 months since my departure and I continue to be paged for client incidents. I’ve asked numerous times to be removed from the on call distribution list, I’ve blocked numbers, and have even gone as far as contacting clients letting them know what’s going on.

I want the calls to stop! I’ve moved on, leave me alone!

Just press 1 to accept and assign the incident to you. Stop the page out to others and waste their time. Let FB explain to the clients why the incident took so long to resolve.

Can you just stall the caller as much as possible? Waste their time. Answer questions but give the wrong answer. Act sincere and helpful but do the opposite. I do that with all spam calls. It's a lot of fun.

The MoveIt hack with Flagstar too.
I am sure Fiserv has more than one MoveIt entity.

Think!!

Have to have some empathy for the clients in this mess. I left in 2021 and still get an occasional plea for help from my past client's team, especially in the middle of the night. It seems no one is answering on call, client is forced to open a ticket that then goes into oblivion even on what should be a Level 1 all hands live down issue. All I can do is commiserate since obviously have no access and all the peeps that knew anything are gone from Fsrv.

That's why I went phone free when they took away the corporate phones. No way was I letting them have access to my personal cell.

This is why I never gave Fiserv my cell phone number. For On-call, emergencies, etc all they had was my landline. That’s since been disconnected. If Fiserv wasn’t so cheap they’d give a company phone to people who need to be on-call. When you leave you turn it in. No more calls.

Contact your lawyer and have the send a cease and desist letter to Frankenberry, give the X days to correct, if not corrected then each call/text will be billed at $5000.

This is how Fiserv works. Totally dysfunctional. The person that has power to take you off the call/escalation list probably quit or was replaced by a new person.

You are not alone. I continue to receive escalations calls from the after hours on-call team 16 months after my last day at Fiserv. It's kind of sadly amusing how inept this company has become.
