The reality is , the longer they take , the more people they will have to lay off to make their numbers.
Oh cr-p the guy two posts down just came into the office and tried to turn off our jet engines!
Shrooms? Dude i'm going to need a v-lium and some OG kush!
I’m gonna need some mushrooms if I keep being strung around like this to deal with my mental health.
Yes, layoffs and being yanked around by EL is hilarious. Get bent noob!
No mushrooms but ham/pineapple would work.
Do you want mushrooms on the pizza or not?
Do you realize that $300 million equates to 3000 plus teammates and that some of those teammates live paycheck to paycheck? Have some compassion for those facing a layoff or go troll somewhere else!
Just do it already.
Do people realize that $300 million is like 3% of total personnel expense?
Cutting 300 mil of you Teammates isn’t going to affect the bank.Majority of you don’t appear smart enough to work for SunTruist or a podunk credit union. 🤡
They're getting laid off. Did you expect them to set up a layoff dashboard with KPIs for you?
We are waiting for the holidays so you can spend extra time with your family
@sce jump for joy. I have my resignation letter ready to go just sticking it out to see if I can get a gift on the way out.
It makes me wonder if outsourcing contracts are falling through.
Layoff predictions on this board are about as accurate as a 15 day weather forecast on AccuWeather.com.
If he told you Dec 15 is your last day what would you do?!?
The ball is rolling but like everything at SunTruist they can't hit dates. Latest rumor is any upper management early November and worker bees early December. Trying to squeeze as much work out of people as possible.
It’s actually a form of torture. It’s bad enough we had to find out RIFs were coming because ol’ Bill announced it to investors before even giving us a hint. Finding out second-hand is insulting. And, he has still not acknowledged it to us. I know some departments have been impacted by RIF’s but those don’t amount to the $300MM he plans to save by laying folks off. Bill’s lack of communication has made me lose all respect for him. I think he is a coward.
I know times are tough and layoffs are taking place through the financial industry as a whole… I can understand the need for RIF’s. I don’t like waiting months to know if I am impacted. This is no way to treat your employees that you “care” for and refer to as “teammates!”
