Just a rant in 2022 I was given a verbal offer from HR saying they will be giving me an offer and with no salary talk. But ask me how much I wanted. I asked for 100k due to the fact I was a senior engineer at another financial company and trying to match what I make. And they decided to pull my offer. What kind of company gives out verbal offer and won’t match pay from a competitor.
