CEO Alan's plan is to cut experienced employees and hire unexperence help out of school. After all Alan thinks anyone can support Avaya products even a monkey can be trained for such simple tasks. Experience is no longer needed because the software is so refined are their thoughts, as they destroy the customer base.

The mishmash of software, automation and infrastructure behind this company is dumpster fire. Technical leaders should have provided better guidance and challenged their comfortable positions of doing things the way they have always been done. Internal turf wars and lack of innovation led Avaya to where it is today. Pump the brand, sell the company and run.
