They talk a lot about it and say they champion and support resources for mental health care , but they leadership has no clue that they / WF is the biggest source of mental health problems for their workers. Now people sadly hold their breaths until 11:30 on the 2nd Tuesday of each month to see if they survived. Then they do it all over the following month. People can’t plan because unless they are the buddies of the leaders no one knows if they will have jobs and will preserve their vacations etc. Those that do survive will have more work dumped on them and less resources to help. Technology has done a poor job of automating processes to make work easier. Risk/ Compliance just keeps adding more controls and procedures without taking out older unnecessary tasks. WF should be the poster child for toxic environment and leading cause of mental illness amongst its workers.

Tell us something we already don't know.
"You only matter if you are making money for the company"
CS recently admitted in an interview he's laid off 50,000 so far with tons more to go. That means tens of thousands of people in profitable lines of business - people who are making money for the company - are getting laid off every Tuesday that follows a payday.
You don't matter to CS, even if you are helping the company make money.
Absolutely not! Please don't count on your employer to care about you in any capacity. You only matter if you are making money for the company, as many of us will find out on upcoming Tuesdays. GIRD YOUR LOINS!
@1zod+1pcw33c8 is right. Every company does this only to protect themselves against potential lawsuits and negative publicity. Where did you get the idea that they care about you?
You can plan - it’s called having emergency savings that can hold you for 6-12 months.
All companies care about this topic, and you as an employee, as it relates to the company’s risk appetite and public image. Nothing more.
This is like asking if Joe Biden really cares about Americans 😂 just do what you’re told it’s for the greater good and we’re all in this together 💕 everything is fine 💞
The ongoing systematic layoffs occurring for years on end which seems like a form of nonstop psychological harassment. This must be some sort of concern to eeoc with all the upcoming focus on mental health in the workplace.
Obviously no. They care about mental health in the same fashion they do about DEI. It's all fake corporate bull cr-p. If WF cared about DEI, they would have been pushing it 10 years ago.
They spend additional millions of dollars for useless mental health just to cover their behind. But they could use that money to retain some good employees instead.
No
Dead people earn no severance, so of course not.
So many people today that cannot handle corporate life. This has been going on for eons.
Corporations ebb and flow. Like seaweed in a current. They are like an organism, kind of like the amoeba. Flow in one direction and shift gears when the currents change. Employees need to react to stay ahead as much as possible.
The old saying still goes: if you cant stand the heat, eat milder chicken wings.
Way too sensible for these lazy liberals to handle.
Grow the F up. Corporations (and governments) can't care or love or breathe WFB shows they care by paying you. That's the deal. Mental health is part of todays zieguiest. Victims blame and worry about things that never happen. Please get help.
Back before I got axed I thought they cared. The sad realization is they don’t. I have nothing nice to say about them and I don’t hesitate to tell everyone I see what a terrible place this is
Their executive suite hopes you all jump out a window like the guy in Charlotte, so that they can get their headcount down and save severance, and get more stonk options.
Wells Fargo caring about mental health is like a te------t caring about feeding the hostages they’re taking. It makes for good talking points for executive cheerleaders and looks great on a PowerPoint presentation, but it’s empty/disingenuous fluff. It’s the illusion of caring to give the top of house the appearance of apathy where none is present. When a corporate entity has to create a societal facade of caring about it’s employees while still openly engaging in the detrimental actions that have caused the trauma and distrust, they’ve already lost. They’re either delusional or think the majority of us are to stupid and disengaged to recognize the abuse and call it out.
Amen.
