Those of us in Arlington heights Illinois have been told to not worry about going in the office, the building needs 200+ more work stations to hold the number of employees that are supposed to report to that location. What a joke.

Just like Stankey and his henchmen, giving in to a bunch of crybabies in Chicago. This happens all the time, oh, Chicagy doest like it, better make a change! Good God!
of my co-workers in other lines of business never even knew about this RTO/Move to dallas mandate.
This is because RTO (relo requirement) is not required for all. It has been stated many times, customer facing and those needing to touch physical equipment are not going to be required to relocate.
Not enough seats in my office either. I was told to go to A office three times a week until they can figure out the seating. Local CO for me it is.
Can they do that?
this is all very inconsistent. I'm part of the layoffs because I am in the 9 hubs while some of my co-workers in other lines of business never even knew about this RTO/Move to dallas mandate. This isn't even about whining that I have to go into the office 3 days a week but that I'M LOSING MY JOB while someone else doesn't even know about it.
Not fair to the rest of us at&t employees. Chicagoland based employees always receive preferential treatment. All they have to do is cry and the company caters to them. Enough is enough!
Plenty of sets in Atlanta and Dallas. Time to relocate if you want to stay employed
Just another bungled nightmare by Stankey! Business as usual!
Yeah, it was hard to figure out for someone in planning and calculate the difference between people assigned to location and number of seats available before the start of rto. This require quantum computers. Anyway this building will close next year so why bother?
Make sure you get it in writing / email.
Chicago isn’t a hub anyway.
You should all be relocating like all the other non hub locations.
YOU ARE OUT OF POLICY.
The “spirit” of the policy says you need to move.
Awesome
Wow, you have work stations, we have a conference table to collaborate around in my location. It sounds like the stock market trading floor from the eighties, with everyone on support calls, Teams or a meeting.
