It sure seems that way. Most boomers haven't really done anything wrong but they pay a heavy price. We all know there is a percentage of boomers that are completely unproductive. I'm just not sure how you go about separating the wheat from the chaffe!

I'm a boomer that is more than willing to leave the T work force, just need a little incentive to help with my decision. If there's no incentive, I'll be all too happy to stick around and collect an easy pay check every two weeks. Just show me the money, T!

Can't say for sure but it sure feels that way. He's using his old "divide and conquer strategy", pit each age group against one another. Works everytime. He wants rid of all us old geezers, wearing our dad jeans with depends underwear, shuffling from our desk to the restroom and back.
I am most willing to achieve knowledge transfer from AT&T. Need not to hire new staff. The needful will be done.

I literally had a dream last night that he was going over separation paperwork with me. He was just as unempathetic in the dream as you would imagine.
It sure feels like it. He totally omits boomers on team calls. I feel like I am walking on eggshells everyday. I know I don't contribute to any special high tech projects, but would like to work five more years and retire at 75.
Oh, and I don't yet wear depends!

What's your position that gives you access to make this judgement (please share)? Do you get to see all the Amplify ratings by age group? Are you a HR Business Partner that gives you this wide access? Or is this just your own opinion? It would be helpful if you could back up your statement with facts, considering that T has employees all over the world in all age groups.
