ELT cannot offshore most tech work to a geo 12.5 hrs apart and expect folks in seats core hours. Our counterparts will be asleep.
My spouse is a nurse and has no comment.

THIS - all the tech support contractors take weeks to resolve anything, if they even do. They send follow up emails asking to call you while you're asleep. HAHA makes zero sence. And you're right - most of these "remote" employees are more than likely working for more than one enployer. Especially tech and all the roles Nike thinks should be eligible for the Remote Work Program. Meanwhile all of us who give our best to Nike get slapped in the face with this mandate. So f'ing D-MB.
@nqc don’t be d-mb, that information is available for cheap in the US. Every paycheck processor aggregates & sells employment information.
Heck. Even Equifax sells it.
For all you know…many if the FTE work for multiple employers as well. Many having their outside businesses and spending most of their time in the business instead of work.
The funniest thing to me is our offshore contractors frequently are working for 2-3 companies at once. They only work when someone micromanages them every day.
We’re paying for someone to also write code for Adidas & Walmart.
They could have just laid off 50% of the workforce and we would get more done. But those d-mbasses are paying for a worse outcome.
Who am I kidding. We all know they’re getting kickbacks for signing all those contracting agreements.
They can and they have done that. You can be the judge of success/failure of the model. Some of the employees are working odd long hours to make it work. ELT just talks rubbish, have no idea how to run a global footwear/apparel company, least they know about running global technology group
