More just got layed off… NO SEVERANCE
I agree with the in office comment. Lol how some teams are required and some are not is beyond me. I have a friend on a team that says she’s on a team that’s not even equipped to go into the office. They have all their big a-s desktop equipment at home so would have to carry it back and forth. And they say we are a technology company.
Fake news! Nothing happened on 10/26. People need to keep this fake news to themselves. If you want some true news, how about the 5-10% of the GIDS division that has not been into the office as required 4 times a month. We have 5 to 10 percent that could be laided off right now and these people should be laided off.
Didn’t hear of anything happening today. Get out while you can, people. I only have a week left.
I checked with a friend and as far as they were aware the layoffs didn't happen today. Does anyone have any different info?
This is a great page to read (https://www.ssctech.com/about/disclosures) this ship is sinking faster than the rats from State Street can climb onboard...
Talented people are starting to flock like crazy because all this cross training. And it’s way before India can comprehend the work. This is backfiring fast. It makes me scared for my department. And desperate to get out myself.
This is a sinking ship (SS&C) and they have bitten off more than they can chew with some many overpriced-paid acquisitions. As panic is sets in the SS&C hierarchy are shrinking the workforce (quickest way to release capital).
Shareholders and press are lining-up in the wings....watch this space this is going to be a riot!
Yes, I've been thinking the same thing. They are illegally avoiding WARN notices so no one has a chance to start looking for a job. They don't want anyone to know they are laying off thousands of people. The best thing you can do if you're let go is to file for unemployment. It'll increase their unemployment insurance rates. Someone should file a complaint with their local attorneys general.
My God. It feels like these are hitting once every other week or so. Are they trying to avoid WARN notices with the state?
