Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Catch up meeting

I did get mine today and many who said no to relocation - 60 days - out by Feb. more catch up meetings next week.

I understand Gibbons doesn’t care if your BU is destroyed. I am so happy now.

Agree with earlier poster who said start interviewing now or, I should say, start LOOKING and applying now. After I left First Data (it wasn't Fiserv anymore when i left over a year ago) I applied to close to 50 jobs where I wasn't getting any responses back. The jobs I applied to I was 100% qualified for and had years and years of work experience, had a professionally written resume that was ATS compliant etc... and I was getting very discouraged. Happy to say I did find another job (after I used a work connection to just get an interview at least) and is 100% remote, better pay, better benefits and 1,000% better culture than First Data. Best of luck to you all - you deserve better than that P.O.S. company.

I find it interesting that some in the banking org are required to move while the other group in that same org are not given the same mandate. Those remote leaders even have direct reports.

For those that received a catch up meeting so far, what division are you in?

I heard from a manager that remotes may be next because the company is trying to find additional ways to cut costs. Apparently, they don't care if replacements are hired before giving notices out, which matches what another poster wrote. Also, I was told severance is still on the table but I don't believe anything upper management or HR says. Just be ready.

So this is the new “touch base” meeting? I’m ready to move on. Moral is low on what was once an awesome team to work with.

Since I made the choice not to relocate I'll probably get my invite next week. It will be nice to begin getting closer on this nightmare.

Anyone have details on tthe severance package?

This is for sure a meeting where your exit details will be discussed. I suspect severance will be included. Take it and run with it. Best of luck to you all!

You'll be better off getting out of that place. Good luck on the job search!

I'd maybe stick around till Feb, but only with a severance. If no severance I'm out.

More coming next week for remote, regardless if they can function without the knowledge. Hope I'm one
