I think this is a true assessment of the deal by the investors, gain is zero, loses is $14 billion and thousands of jobs and outsourcing

Amazingly when Stankey finally goes I am willing to bet he will find himself on the BOD at Ericsson.
" The street pays no attention and is completely ambivalent to whatever Stank announces. It’s ignored. Nothing is going to change until he’s gone."
100%. He has lost all credibility. They don't care. This is what drives him nuts, and why you can hear him seething just beneath the surface and barely able to control his anger when asked about the stock performance. Truth is, it probably is a bit undervalued. But they don't trust anything the guy says at this point.
It's akin to when a pro sports coach loses the faith and trust of his players. "Loses the room" as they say. They sort of tune him out, and his message falls on deaf ears. They underperform. A good coach recognizes when that happens, and either steps aside or is canned. It's been a decade, and neither of those things happen here. Same old coach. Same stale messaging. Lost the room and the street years ago. BOD apparently couldn't care less.
A $14 billion dollar contract award creates the mother of all kickbacks.
It amazes me that so many of you think the market cares one way or another about any of T’s announcements.

This is an apples to oranges comparison.
I don’t have any T stocks, I truly don’t case and I wish it drops more
What is important to me is my job.
Is my job safe or not?
This deal make my job security a big problem for me and my family
What are you expecting?
AT&T is the worst operator in the country, Ericsson o-ran deal won’t help much in the short term and this project is costly and risky
$16.81 a share
We are at the tail of service providers in stock value and in network performance.
Doesn’t matter what deal you make with Ericsson or outsourcing the network management to India
T true gains is by laying off 100 thousands of highly paid employees
