Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Cuts in Jordan?

Anyone heard of cuts in Jordan? I have an offer with another company and pose this question: wait to be laid off for severance or take offer and run.

I need to leave Nike, the toxicity is overwhelming and by the looks here, it’s all over campus. It’s a matter of figuring out when. How long should I wait?

So.. take the offer first if all, this place has become too toxic to pass it up. Then don’t tell them, take advantage of flex weeks pto whatever over the holidays and maybe even in January, if you get canned just act upset and take the severance. If you don’t get canned just quit. Congrats!

You can always take it and volunteer for a layoff to save someone else’s job.’

Quit with grace! Take the offer. Don't do my mistake . Don't wait for the ship to sink. Go for it. I wish I was in your place

take the offer, push out the start date to feb1 or 15 due to wanting a break to recharge during roles. DO NOT TELL ANYONE YOU KNOW ABOUT THE JOB.

If you’re not laid off by mid jan you can put in two weeks for a small break or ride it out till the end.

Quit with grace and leave doors open, you never know where people will land.
