Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Not investing in the future...

Leadership's vision is so narrowly focused on showing a short term profit at any given point. This seems likely the best recipe for failure in the long term.

This company's products, systems, and tech are woefully outdated. In addition, the narrow view of how to manage it's own workforce is equally outdated.

This company is not designed for the future.

Corporate cannibalism is a phenomenon where companies prioritize short-term gains over long-term growth by swallowing up their smaller competitors. This practice has become increasingly common in recent years, and it has dire consequences for the business world.

Fiserv is basically only running on duct tape and popsicle sticks. Disconnected systems and they think they can resolve these issues with a bunch of cr-ppy dashboards.

lol, they don't think long term. They think, "can I squeeze any more blood out of this rock before I retire?" No more, no less.

Don't mistake senior leaders here for people who give a d@mn about anyone other than themselves. Selfish pr!cks is what they are.

@vkr+1pSXaj0W that doesn't even make sense. Reread it and rewrite it.

The damage done by execs to chase their synergies bonuses in 2022-2023 is irreversible. In a complex business where it takes over a year to become proficient at ones role with adequate training, all tenured employees have fled leaving a surge of brand-new employees at a market premium with no one to train. The controls and processes have unraveled and nobody can get anything accomplished, it isn't for a lack of work ethic as FB believes a RTO will fix, rather RTO and forced relocations have accelerated the employee attrition. They can only sustain the mirage for shareholders for so long. Hopefully they can burry the truth in their Re-segmentation or there is zero chance of meeting 2024 targets ethically.

Don't worry. You will make so much money once all the employees are gone. Once only senior management remains there will be nothing left to hold them back - or to take the blame for their failures.

In a modern company the future is this quarter. Fiserv is well positioned for success with this strategy. Sadly many employees are not able to keep pace and confuse planning with simply being too slow
