I have a ton of stock that is so devalued by bad decisions it’s crazy…. Where is the accountability of the c suite…. Oh and my prediction I made months ago when they hired the bean counter to take over Aetna. It’s coming true they are trimming Medicaid to sell it off…. I’ve got your number Brian Kane we know did this I’m at Humana and guess what Humana and Cigna announced a merger because commercial was sold off at Humana and MA is being sold off at Cigna…. Lunch doesn’t want Medicaid. She’s made that clear

Selling off medicaid would be tough, revolving contracts...too much risk. If anyone thought aetna was looking to sell medicaid they'd just look to pick off pieces for free. Also, few companies could buy it because of membership level restrictions in many states.

I posted about Florida and fear mongering was not the intent. It was that there are still layoffs going on into 2024. All need to be prepared and dust off the resume.
BTW, I was affected in August after being told by our VP and lead we were all safe. Just saying nothing guaranteed and no one is safe.
Of course not .. but the poster about FL was trying to make it sound as if they were already happening in every month of 2024 up until July.
Hopefully those 2 people have already been notified and can work until that time which would give them some time to get ready.

To the comment about FL for 2024. Yeah the WARN notice did have ONE line stating 2024. ONE LINE. The rest were 2023.

40 people being laid off 12/31/2023 in Illinois according to the October WARN notice. Mostly Buffalo Grove and Downer's Grove, so IT and Aetna impacted.
Heard the same. Look at the WARN notice for Florida. Show’s layoffs clear into mid 2024.
