What is under the table job? How can one pick it?
As an ex employee due to layoff by Transunion.
My advice is to take a week or two. Take a mental break, workout, walk, this is your time to visit family and friends. As I always said you are and always will be replaceable for a job
and not family. Be present.
Update your resume
Use ChatGPT for a cover letter.
Network with others. Remember friends and family may know people who can help and use as referrals.
Everyone is different. I been unhappy with TU for 3 years and always knew or felt unwanted unappreciated but push forward did my job. I wanted to quit in May. I stayed and instead was laid off with serverence and one month pay. At first I was sad and then it was a blessing that I was finally out of that toxic cancer of a workplace.
Take the time to reflect, post for new positions or get ready for the next chapter of your life.
Pick up an under the table job like I did.
