I got the invite as well. I’m LOL because they definitely didn’t put into consideration performance and the projects we’re working on.
VPs (and some directors / SVP in specific cases) will be delivering the message. My understanding is that because a VP selected the names (mainly from previous input) without conversations so they will do the layoff. In some cases, directors will do this, but it probably varies by department and by VP
