I tried logging into Staples system this AM ( 28 Nov 2023) but got locked out. Is this an IT issue? Hope they did not fire me silently overnight.
Anyone else facing this issue?

We are still down.
It’s been hacked and it won’t be fixed overnight. Warehouses are closed wed due to no new orders coming through. Hopefully maybe Thursday it will be fixed.
The person was asked what an "fcs: is not an "FC". FC and fcs (or FCS) are not the same. FC - previously explained. FCS or fcs is furniture customer service. seriously? Don't be rude...🙄
The system was breached. Should be back up and running overnight from what I’ve heard.
FC is just short for fulfillment centers. As was previously stated rather rudely, it is where all the online and phone orders are sent to be picked, packed and sent to our DC's which are the distribution centers. Valid question if you are not familiar with the delivery chain of the company.
Distribution side is basically at a stand still. Retail and FC.
To the one that asked what is an FC . That would be the warehouses that pick ,pack and deliver the orders. Seriously?
Mid-market here and was in the office today, but we were all sent home around noon to wait it out since we couldn’t log in to any of our systems

Archaic systems way behind the times. Appropriate investments not made over the years and don’t get me started on the websites. Laughable and so far behind competition…. embarrassing…..nobody wants Staples brand stop searching it up to the top and hiding HP. They keep your lights turned on.

Just talked to my manager, everyone seems locked out.
Not another layoff.. we are having a Corpwide Systems Outage.. You would have been in a room with your manager by now, if you were actually getting fired.
Hope they didn't let go of the guys that fix these issues during the last layoff.
Same here unable to access Staples email/teams. Looks like a Microsoft login issue and hopefully not a layoff ( though the first issue doesn't rule out the second one - both are not mutually exclusive events) .NAD corp Supply chain employee here. May be a grumpy fired employee left a ticking time bug inside the IT system before leaving?
