Oh it's ok. You get the holiday off but it counts as your day off. It's fine, we are always here for the customer...What a joke of a company. We value family, yet we don't value the time with them...We are money oriented, we'd be open on Christmas if it were possible.

That’s rich what an a-s hat if you qualified. As if any job in Verizon beyond network engineering takes. Verizon has so many overqualified trash cans that go along with the culture of personalities. Clearly a few on here

Not sure how your store is run, but most are getting the third day off, as is the policy. You might want to pull the holiday pay policy up for whoever is scheduling you

I take it you are in retail. Maybe get a non retail job. There are plenty of opportunities. Unless you aren't qualified to do anything else but slamming. Don't be toxic like a door dash driver . A lot restaurants are open the day of Thanksgiving and people have to work. You got paid to be with your family.
