Thread regarding TransUnion layoffs

recently moved?

I’ve heard that if you recently moved or are going to move you won’t have a job anymore. If you have moved, did you stay or will you be a part of layoff? Will you get severance package if you move?

They won’t let me take my job 300 miles from an office but they’ll offshore it. Id--ts.

That messaging came out when they did the whole RTO cr-p. It's all part of the game to get as many US based associates to quit so they can lower their severance expenses. Make things as uncomfortable as possible for people so they get fed up and leave.

I'm one of those people who moved, and I did so because we were told we'd never be forced back into an office. I had to file a request which management and HR approved. I'm aware of many executives who did the same, who I doubt will be laid off. Regardless, I do not like the trajectory of this company and haven't for awhile, so it's time to move on.

They put an announcement that work agreements won't be considered. I don't believe it but have no proof. That being said if your work agreement is set up as hybrid or on-site and you move 100 miles from the site that's more a resignation than a firing since they aren't doing new remote agreements anymore
