Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Needs improvement

Well, mgr told me ahead of review that I'm getting inconsistently meets. Said needed to rate a couple higher (or would lose them; mgr's favorites) and needed to rate some lower as a result. Blamed bell curve, but she made the choice. Said didn't want me to be upset, so doing me a favor by telling me so I won't be surprised. Riiight.

With inconsistently meets, does this mean no bonus and I'll be marked for lay off? (or worse, will WF try to terminate to avoid severance?)

I'm already looking elsewhere. Had great reviews w/other previous mgrs.

You will still get a bonus, but slightly reduced. This new amount may be your starting bonus for next year if you get a meets rating then. You would not get a merit increase, that would go to someone else.
