Manager Communication

Has anyone received communication from their manager? Are individual teams conducting meetings following Cartwright's announcement of dismantling TransUnion?

Not yet. Same for my manager too. I got info, even VP level not knowing about what's going to happen.

Yeah nobody as far as I know up to Senior Director knows anything. I’m working on a few external opportunities so hopefully I can get out of this sh*tshow ASAP.

My manager no-showed our team's weekly meeting after the announcement was made. I connected with him one-on-one for a bit but he seems more nervous about what's coming that any of his direct reports (who are probably welcoming being RIF'd at this point. I know I am!). My take is anyone D-level or below had no explicit prior warning. V-level I give a coin flip. SVP-level and everyone north I'd call it very likely they were not only privy, but actively in on it. There's no way that the C-suite is going to be able to gut their most productive (aka US-based) teams that their most important initiatives are hinging on without at least consulting with the segments of the management verticals that have a clue which roles won't truly jeopardize major M&A integration timelines. God knows Cartwright and his clown crew don't know their heads from their arses.

My manager seemed just as surprised as I did, they had no further info unfortunately.
