They previously said that after the new hire was onboard, Cross training would begin.
It seems as if a good plan has once again been tossed aside due to financial issues.

I worked for FDC for 21 years and I can tell you that we had numerous layoffs around Thanksgiving and middle of December. One year it was when we were having our Christmas luncheon and people were being walked out. With the FDC mindset any day can be your last day.
I just got my 60 day notice today. BTW I’m right next to the Columbus Ohio office they are currently building out but I wouldn’t move to NJ so getting let go.
Whoever thinks all astronauts in Ohio are safe - you are wrong. A bunch more of us getting cut loose again.
