after a year of looking for something better and paying more i finally landed a new job but does anyone know if they payout unused PTO? i only have 4 days left or let you use it?

They are supposed to pay out any unused accrued pro

If you have "unlimited" time off your balance is always Zero. This is a scam to not pay days that would otherwise have accumulated. So take all days before you leave or give notice.
Do not tell them you’re leaving until you take the days. Sometimes even if you want to give two weeks they just tell you you’re done now.
Just use it during your two weeks notice period.
Call out for 4 days and then give your two week notice
It depends on the state you live in. Various states laws require payout of PTO. I did not live in one of those states, so PTO was not paid out for me.
