Severance

If Wells Fargo offers me a job that I don't accept, will my severance be void?

This will be documented in the handbook and layoff papers.

IIRC. It was along the lines of if you’re offered a substantially different job you’re still entitled. That can mean location, level, salary.

This information is readily available in the Employee Handbook.

Do you know what that percentage of lower pay may be?

There is criteria listed for what is outside of forced acceptance or lose severance. It used to be more than fifty miles from current location - and also outside a percentage lower than current salary.

Yes that was the way it was several years ago. Don’t know current. If you think you’ll b offered a job you don’t eat, withdraw your application.
