Anyone else trying to avoid working with offshore teams in India when looking for their new job and if so why? My experience with the attitude towards women has not been positive and Fiserv seems to write it off as a cultural difference female employees have to tolerate on both sides of the ocean.

I would send nothing offshore. They say and do anything...all wrong.
Most companies have some kind of outsourced resources. I expect the primary reason is expense, the second being the location or time zone. Follow-the-sun support uses this all the time. While it can be somewhat of an obstacle working with people in a different foreign country, we can still manage to work together. If the spoken language is difficult, email or chat works most of the time. Some of my best peers work overseas.
Regarding women in the workplace, I consider all women equal to the men I've worked with - some more so than others. Overall, you don't tend to see a lot of women in technical jobs. Why? - good question. It's not like they're not as good as the rest of us. Don't worry about the nay sayers!
Security is a concern with the pals the Indian administration is courting and their recent actions.
Ki-ling diplomats in foreign countries.
FBI puts the same type of diplomats on notice that this could happen to them in the U.S..
Dealing with Putin for oil. Supporting the Ukraine war with those dollars.
Again, the U.S. is going for the almighty dollar and not seeing the risks.
You get what you pay for.
I struggle listening and comprehending English when people put the emhPHAsis on the wrong syllABle.
I have been fortunate to work with some tremendous teams and people in India (I’m not a troll), but realize that is not the same experience with a lot of groups at Fiserv. My female counterparts there also have to deal with misogynist attitudes and clear discrimination like many in US. We can’t seem to get promotions, raises, etc even with exceeds ratings. Will soon be trying somewhere else though - no future at Fiserv
Who wants to adjust to their timezones and work with their spaghetti code? Incompetent but cheap so it ruins it for the rest of us
I avoid it like the plague. There are some actually competent but the vast majority are yes-sayers that are utterly unable to perform their jobs.
