The plan is easy! Let’s go!!!

It starts by hiring someone who thinks they can be ceo by offering some sort of expertise (tech for JD, for example)

Ok, he’s hired, let’s go!!!

Then, he’s let loose as CEO, and for a time it works great! Digital sales are going bonkers, especially thanks to a once in a century tailwind called Covid. Our strategy is clearly working! Exciting! Let’s go team!

But soon, we start seeing some cracks in operating performance and market share, but why? Is it product innovation or economic concerns and realities?

Don’t be fooled! The reason is because people currently have freedom to work from home 2 days a week! Can you believe that?!

To get us back on track, leadership has evaluated our opportunities and have figured out the best way is to be in the office 4 days a week. Thank you “leaders”!

Soon, lots of A or even B talent leave to join a company that actually has a leader. These employees know our playbook and can execute, and have a leadership that wants to ki-l us, while we are left to defend for ourselves without the help of a competent leadership team. Will be fun!!! Thank you board of directors!!!

And there you go! That’s how to ki-l a brand
