AT&T sent out information on the 2024 ATT MAPD plan recently. The material sent to you was determined by which group you were in. Below are the three groups. After each group I captured a sentence or two from the Plan guide that group was sent. Bottom line is that group 1 and 2 will be automatically enrolled in the 2024 MAPD plan. Group 3 has the “option” to enroll. Hope this helps. There is a link at the bottom where you can view all the material.
(Group 1) If you are an AT&T retiree currently enrolled in the AT&T Group Medicare Advantage (PPO) Plan through UnitedHealthcare
“..Thank you for being a valued member of the AT&T Group Medicare Advantage (PPO) Plan. You do not need to do anything to stay enrolled in this plan for 2024. Your coverage will automatically renew and a new member ID card will be sent to you prior to the new plan year.”
(Group 2) If you are a subsidized AT&T retiree, former employee or dependent and are enrolled in medical coverage through the Retiree Heath Exchange or Via Benefits
“..You don’t need to take any action — you will automatically be enrolled in the AT&T Group Medicare Advantage (PPO) Plan and will be able to access your new benefits starting January 1, 2024”
(Group 3) All other AT&T retirees, former employees or dependents
“Don’t miss out on the opportunity to enroll in a custom AT&T Group Medicare Advantage (PPO) Plan for 2024….You will have the option of enrolling in the AT&T Group Medicare Advantage (PPO) Plan or AT&T Group Medicare Advantage (PPO) Plus Plan..”
