Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Pulse Survey

It looks like it’s that time again. Is it better to not even take the pulse or to give all ones? I don’t believe that it is anonymous and I want to make sure I get on their bad side so I can finally be laid off. Which option would pi-s off our overlords more?

We have gotten terrible scores quarter after quarter and have never been interviewed. We have no action plan that us nobodies are aware of. It is just business as usual with some reminders to take the survey and a large increase in thank yous just after the survey opened.

There is just one text questiom about action plans . I’m sure people use it to say whatever they want but it isn’t required just like all the other questions.

It’s definitely not anonymous. Your writing style is easily identifiable. I would recommend using Chatgpt to filter and disguise.
Also a negative survey will not change any behaviors. It will however cause your team to undergo intense scrutiny from HR and Customer Success team. Interviewed. Your best option is to not take it. That way they have no data points to single you out.

You might be on to something, every time they do pulse it ends right before the layoffs. I don't know the answer, maybe all 5s will get you chosen?

Pulse surveys are there to determine participation, more than they are for your opinion. Once they get enough people not taking them they will for sure be startled.
