I am wok in an environment where 70% of the individuals are associated with CB Risk. These individuals spend their entire day engaged in conversations, appearing to be highly skilled, yet it appears that they aren’t achieving any tangible results. Are these individuals the ones accountable for the removal of the consent order?

Definitely sounds like a lot of the people in CB Compliance and CB Control I am familiar with. Not sure about their other risk functions.
Then again, a lot of CB has always seemed to be form over substance compared to the other Business Groups.
I worked in one of these roles once. The gladhanders drove me out lol. Bunch of bush league sht all the time and the butt kissing on the team meetings was nauseating
They would do well to get rid of the old guys running the show. They are MIA
They just run meeting to meeting and proclaim how busy they are. We see it!
However, people behave like this at all companies. Nothing we can do to change human behavior, especially in an IC role.
