Same CEO dialogue, same layoff reasoning, (hopefully not) the same business plan. Its all about the C-suite getting their bonuses, and stockholders getting their value. Employees be d@mned. They will sleep just fine tonight. You won't. Those that remain, remember that when you go into work tomorrow. Just look at the faded legacy of Mellon.

BNYM is laying off but still biting too.
BNYM is currently laying off people in Pgh and NY. More expected before year end.
It took BNY Mellon many years to get as F’d up as they are today. Sr Mgt has no plans or ideas to grow revenue and therefore needs to continuously reduce expenses and staff to continue achieve their profit/loss projections. Perhaps PNC is on the same path but they are no where close to being as F’d up as BNY Mellon. However, for those that were displaced, BNYM might be a good place to temporarily work until you get a job with a good company. I hear they cannot get people to apply for the open positions.
