PNC once again showed its disdain and disrespect for its employees. Everybody involved in this should feel ashamed.

Company has continually gone down hill since Demchak took over.
WebEx at lunch time. No discussion of severance info. Told to take remainder of day off.
I was also just let go too…smh. Layoffs are a bi--h.
I too was let go today. It was in a webex.. we were all muted.. it literally took them less than 10 minutes. We were told our position was being displaced and if we had any questions we needed to call employee relations. Still no answer as to why us.. I've been with the company almost 7 years. I received severance for 14 or 15 weeks from December 1st. It was very cold. My team does the same exact thing that I did and I was the only one "displaced" from our department. And no answer as to why.
PNC Severance is base off of years of service and current position, even someone at 1 year gets some severance
i was let go this morning around 930. i was told i can stay on until the end of the year. really hurts because 2 years ago i was promoted and given a decent raise. i used that money to purchase a new house and finally have a baby. now i have no idea how to pay for daycare and a mortgage.
From PNC’s most recent annual shareholder report:
Dear Shareholder, 2022 was a year of growth for our company. We delivered our Main Street bank model to serve more customers and communities across an expanded footprint, leveraging the power and potential of our coast to coast franchise. At the same time, we invested heavily to support and grow our talented team. And we came together to help create positive outcomes in the neighborhoods in which we work and live. All of this helped generate solid financial results in 2022 and put us in a position of strength as we entered 2023.
They also mention record revenue of $21.1B.
Need some details. How’d it go down??
Is it true it was done through a recorded video?
How did it happen? Any severence?
