Johnny boy spent an hour telling us how great Lincoln is. I'm sure it's a fine office. But why would I move there ? "To be passionate about my work and my clients". What about my friends and family ? Should I not be passionate about them ? I have zero incentive to go. John said it best even if you do go he's not going to give you a five year letter of employment you're just another pawn. Theres many many local banks and competitors that pay a similar salary, absolutely no reason to relocate.
John and his HR lady that has clearly had too much Botox or plastic surgery clearly have no friends and no passions outside of work.
I genuinely feel sorry for them.

They don't want you to move. This is a wolf is sheep's clothing. They want you to quit so they don't have sever and pay you.
Filling that Berkeley building was laughable.
I had so many managers complain about having to panel interview Rutgers students with no experience all for the tax incentives. There are some talented people there but also many many air heads that are just occupying a seat for an easy check.
I see it is the same as in europe where Colm marched to the office and on questions about home office answered something like this. If you are not willing to accept this change I guess you are not good fit to the company.
Just sc--w every company that is demanding something from you. Always do what is in your best interest because nobody will do that for you!
Bunch of douche bags running this company
This sounds like they now realize populating BH with applicants off the street instead of tenured, experienced workers was a mistake. Their business plan remains the same: consolidate to states that offer tax breaks but this time they want people who know stuff. The issue is they don’t want to pay for it. They should offer relocation packages (moving expenses, raise) with a 2 year contract. That might attract a few people. But they won’t because all the money is theirs.
I am as passionate toward my work as they are loyal and compassionate to me.
Feel the same?
I've worked in both offices. Lincoln offers nothing special over SF, except for the corporate tax break. And I think that has to be running out soon in Lincoln, the newest building is pushing 15 years old.
Bottom line, John and the rest of the corporate knobs don't give a damn about you, your families, your friends, or your communities. He's got his marching orders from Frank (evident to see why Horvath left) and being a stooge he will carry it out to the letter. Guy makes me want to pu-e.
