Worst stock performance in two years but somehow our leadership got huge raises and now others will be sent home due to their arrogance. This company use to be great until the SunTrust mafia took it over. There is no accountability here and furthermore there is a huge credibility issue with leadership and the workforce now. They have not been transparent about this as in years past and continue to show the teammates that they speak out of both sides of their mouths. How will you tell us what Care looks like when you don’t lead by example yourself and show your own employees that “care”.

I’ll never understand how bank executives will make millions in compensation so they can keep up with the joneses, have multiple homes, the best of everything…..and cut the people that live paycheck to paycheck. It’s hypocritical and greedy. I’m tired of the rhetoric. I’m not sure how they have demonstrated that they care for teammates - I don’t see it.
That’s gonna motivate us to work harder!
Cutting $300M in employee salaries is a short term maneuver in an attempt to please the market gods..... god speed Bill.
Absolutely - this place is run by arrogant, incompetent clowns. Wonder if Billy’s wife is going to be bumped from the corporate jet for her shopping trips to Atlanta?
They simply don't care. Bill's Purpose Corner talking about transparency and not giving any details only then to talk at Barclays the next day about $300million cuts in personnel in Q4 (Read: over the holidays) is laughable.
They wanted you to quit when they offered VSRP. They wanted you to quit when they told you to come back to the office. They wanted you to quit when they announced changes coming. You didn't, so now you get fired. Merry Christmas.
You going to get to $300million in 50 Regional Wealth Roles and going from 21 regions to 14? The math ain't mathing, Billy Boy.
So Bill n Beau n Mike having spent the last two years putting Suntrust people in most leadership roles at all levels and spending like drunken sailors on shore leave on play toys like a game boy banking app, selling part of its most consistent revenue producer, losing business in every segment are suddenly going to right the ship with a new game plan. So this is how Bill saved Suntrust, sc--w it up, get paid handsomely, then convince everyone you can fix it, get paid again, then merge with someone. Wow! What a gig these wanna be investment bankers have going.
