Was told by management yesterday that they've already started the stack ranking for year end 2023.

This is what happens when they none knows how to budget and Every other people is a senior managers , Ds and SDs. Very inflated titles with no real control on portfolio.
Yes it has. I noticed in the last 2 months that coworkers that I worked with and whi were very proactive and helpful stopped responding and didn't care anymore. I realized the stack ranking cancer took hold of them and they were beaten down and it was pointless for them to care anymore. And now stack rankings started again even before anyone cam breathe. Capone is cancer.
Not surprised. As a manager there, it is pretty brutal . Sr directors plus leadership is constantly pushing on stack ratings there . If you have multiple layers of leadership, Sr. Managers are usually not engaged with teams and forcing unit managers or associates in a “team lead” position during sessions to rate an associate lower than deserved, then avoid all conversations with associates on the communication front, throwing first level leaders under the bus. The whole org is so political and competitive in general. If you do a great job, but someone feels threatened by your expertise and experience, be weary. I have seen some really incompetent people who spoke well and su-ked up to leadership by stating they could deliver , but could not perform the most basic math functions. They usually had someone do their tasks for them, presented work for themselves, and ignored tasks needed with less visibility and still customer impacting. It’s sad that I usually have to watch hard-working and intelligent associates who are always deivering get kicked down and not rated fairly, while others who are incompetent get getting promos.
I never have been rated below strong just as an FYI, but it is infuriating for me as a manager to watch these things happen in sessions.
It's all rigged they've already decided.
