I'm reading remote workers are being targeted first and I am fully remote but within 35 miles of Concord. Would it be adventacious to switch to hybrid to buy me some more time so I can find another job? I would say 75% of my team is remote including management in the area

Concord is footprint and part of "Bay Area" If you want to buy yourself time, speak to your manager to change your designation. If you're a super high performer, they may not get you in this round of layoffs. But like someone else said, I also heard that remote workers not in footprints are being targeted.
Concord and sf are considered “bay area hub”
They are on the enterprise list of core specialty markets, meaning that LOBs are free to hire there as they see fit.
@1zrd+1ot8dUvO what major announcement is coming? What is it about?
Concord is toast. Try to switch to SF if you can.
None of this will matter soon.
Major announcement coming.
Don't RTO. Get your ducks in a row.
Do whatever your chain of management is telling you to do. They are the people who do your reviews. Neither you nor them can make a difference if you're targeted for a layoff. It's your choice if you want to sacrifice work-life balance in order to kiss some chocolate starfish.
I would switch.
Never sign up for RTO, especially if it's not the norm in your group.
Omfg. Advantageous.
You do realize spell check exists, don’t you?
concord falls under SF Bay Area
No Concord is not a hub; it is SF.
