layoffs has nothing to do with bonus .
also the work cannot be done outside USA, which makes us safer.
Layoffs has nothing to do this with this, those laid off got big checks, I know one engineer who worked 5 tears got 5 months severance, bonus changes year over year,
Learn to read the room. It will serve you longer than whatever time you have left at CVS. To think you are safe is asinine. Look at the warn notices. People lost their jobs, their livelihood, healthcare etc. You are talking about your bonus?

No bonus this year, leave if you want.
I would not anticipate MIP to be funded like it has been for the last few years prior. I would anticipate it being difficult for the company to justify to shareholders why we had to cut 5k positions but still have pocket money to pay out bonuses 20-60% in excess of budget without implying that maybe the source of the companies financial woes isn’t excessive headcount. Also, we just spent billions on new high-risk acquisitions and our stock price has been tanking.
Also, read the room. And the terms and conditions of your bonus package.
People just lost their jobs. Go somewhere else if you need to make yourself feel better.
