I'd guess less than 5. Every once in a while I've seen an employee that "just happens" to have switched roles right before the axe falls on their old group and it's probably not a coincidence, but it's also very rare.
How many of the 316 have actually received help to other jobs in the company?
And DON’T get a job during the 60 day non working notice period, or you will lose the severance, because you will be considered voluntary resignation and not layoff.

As long as you're getting severance, there's nothing sad about not having to work at WF anymore. I am so much happier at my new place. I still check in here every so often to see what's new and it seems nothing has changed. If anything, it looks like Hudson Yards is getting even more aggressive in laying off US based workers since I left.
Some of those folks just got a pre-notice and will get an official notice as late as the end of Q1 next year. That's actually not a bad situation to be in if you're going to get laid off -- not that it makes it any less sad.

thank your for your comment. amazing that people fail to realize that during your 60 day notice period, which is most cases is non-working, you are still considered an active employee, it isn't until the end of the notice period that you actually no longer work for the bank.
Don’t insult someone’s reading comprehension before understanding how the 60 day notice period works. It’s always the loudest that end up being the d-mbest.
"last week" and "starting in October"
Reading comprehension is tough
