Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Instead of posting on this board, try this?

Many of you are rightfully frustrated and demoralized. You work for a company that is laying off people right and left and sending jobs overseas while announcing $30 BILLION dollar stock buybacks. They don't care about you one bit. You're a headcount number, that's all.

If you want to do something, write or call the Senate Banking Committee, here you go:

U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs
534 Dirksen Senate Office Building
Washington, D.C. 20510

Phone: (202) 224-7391
Fax: (202) 224-5137

The Senate Banking Committee is mostly made of of majority leftists that are supposed to be looking out for the middle class and working class, but they aren't. Take action, write them, call them, flood their phone lines demanding they take a stand and stand up for YOU, the AMERICAN WORKER!

Your senators / representatives need funds from these banking giants . As long as you and your parents loyal to this one of this two party, voting crazy in every election to the jokers , you will never see a change.
Waste of time . You see those debate , talking empty vessels.

OP and others are barking up the wrong pole . Every consultant and so called efficiency expert will tell you that a 70/30 mix of offshore to onshore is needed. It’s not based on anything tangible and it’s a one size fits all. No one looks at what it takes to run an offshore structure. All they think of is cost. But never the cost of managing such a thing. WF has been at this offshoring thing for a long time and has not managed it right. If they did they would not go through this severe cycle every year.

I would enjoy watching Charlie squirm (again) before the Senate Banking Committee. I would like to hear his justification for the $30 Billion stock buyback while we are still under a Federal asset Cap. And I would like to see the true number of jobs offshored made public.

OP must have just got out of 7th grade civics and does not have a clue how things really work in Washington. Keep thinking the "We the People" stuff, it only helps the rich and entitled class to run things in gov and corporations. Change is coming, just very slowly.

OP - What action are you recommending the Senate Banking Committee takes? Outlaw layoffs and outsourcing? Prohibit stock buy-backs?

The government will not fix what's making us frustrated or demoralized.

I don't know why all of the criticism for this post. I think it's a good idea. Many companies outsource, but Wells is taking it to a new level, and our politicians should know. You never know, there's a chance Charlie would have to answer for it. And many diverse employees that they always so concerned for are swept up in the mass layoffs as well.

Both parties in DC are part of The Great RTO Push. They aren't gonna help with that.

Neither party cares about the middle class. All bought and paid for. Both sides

Please ask all the senators stop sponsoring H1B visa every year. Because as a country, we have too many unemployed programmers and business analysts.

400+ candidates for a job?

Yeah, instead of posting on this board...post some misguided political diatribe because you only care about outsourcing and upvote your own post over and over like OP!

Gotta get that petty little dig at "leftists" in there, even though it's half conservative
