Heard rumors of layoffs today for recruiters. Anyone have insights?

HR is definitely the problem....they are the keepers of the system that causes Rich so much turnover and wasted money. I didn't see it until I left this year. The college football coaches and other famous guest speakers they spend money on, events and BRGs are all a ruse. HR is watching you every step of the way, collecting information to use against you during MY/EOYs and feeding everything to PLs, even making suggestions as to who should be cut and when.
Can you please tell us what this new performance improvement thing looks like? thanks

Step 2. Keep all the sh---y middle managers who failed to lead

No one is firing HR. We are leading the whole performance improvement thing. They need us.
Can confirm. 100+ and not performance related. Impacted all lines of business.
They haven’t shared a number with us but it was a very large number across the entire org - even directors were impacted..
Can someone please confirm the number? TA was hit hard across all levels on Monday.
Yes when companies start firing recruiters are the first to go. Now they should fire other HR staff as well to make it equitable especially the HR Business Partners.
Big time .probably 50% of the team was let go .
