While all Hubs are not safe, all Remote Employees are "deadmen walking". Plan accordingly.

Sure, they want to get rid of remote workers, but it's the low hanging fruit. They'll get everyone else too.

Remote people are in jeopardy it seems whether in a hub or not

Any remote tm is in jeopardy. Living in a hub does not protect you. It's all about getting rid of remote workers.

That's sort of the plan, except for the pay increase thing and the domestic hub thing. Otherwise spot on.

They should terminate the remote employees, layoff the non hubs, and give raises to everyone else. I am pretty sure that’s the master plan with a few exceptions. Kinda of brilliant if think about it.

Yeah, but the catch is that Hudson Yards and Hyderabad are the only hubs. Everything else is a hub "for now". They all gonna go.

But what about the REMOTE employees in the hub locations? They don’t follow in office expectations

It makes sense to layoff people that don’t work at key hubs. The reason hubs were chosen is because there are plenty of resources that are more competent and cost less there.

This is a lie as I know 2 by a hub that were let go. They were remote but were not given a choice to go in before losing their job.

If you are working remotely in a hub city you might as well be anywhere. Makes no sense!
But you get to keep your job for now ?

There won't be layoffs, but transfers to Hyderabad.
