Thread regarding CVS layoffs

There are many available jobs

The only problem is they all su-k. Every single one of them. When somebody tells you the job market is great, they're either just scanning and not reading postings or lying. Unless you're looking to half your pay and double your work at the same time. If that's the case, then yes. The job market is on fire!

I have a few months head start as I was laid off from CVS a few months ago It is a challenging job market. Here’s my advice:
Get your resume and linked in updated
Check job boards daily such as LinkedIn, indeed and zip recruiter.
Don’t doom apply to everything. It’s a marathon so apply for jobs where you meet basic requirements and some/most of preferred.
Networking is icky but necessary. Reach out to your network and ask them to keep you in mind. Try to find connections at companies you apply to. It does help but isn’t everything
There are a lot of low paying jobs out there, you are correct. But a lot of good ones too. And many companies post the range now.

Good luck.
