Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Where is the Columbus, OH office

I heard it was opening at Polaris but now I hear it's closing. Did it ever open? The Dublin, OH office has been closed for almost 2 years. No way was the leased space going to be as big as Dublin.

Frank really missing opportunity here. Instead of BH office shouldve beefed up columbus. Rumor is it will only have 400 seats or so and there are 800 currently in columbus area?.
Frank Could easily fill Columbus office with 2000...BH not so much. So many open reqs that cant be filled in BH. Who really wants to live in expensive armpit of America? Intel, Amazon and Google all building in Columbus/surrounding area! GIANT JP Morgan campus right down street from new columbus office. Really silly it's going to be so small.
Poor leadership decisions once again.

I think most of the locations being closed had hard working, knowledgeable associates who were good for Fiserv. They will be replaced by those who might have good intentions, but will not have the knowledge or experience. Maybe over time they will gain experience, but it is just sad that there needs to be this upheaval for what is a fad by the emperor who no one will say is not wearing pants. These “hiring sites” will struggle to find candidates and the work will suffer.

@5fba+1okKydw3 Most of us weren't rock stars, but we were solid, dedicated folks. I was really hoping to stay until retirement (not that far away). I decided to get while the getting was good. As a side note, all this "long walks" silliness is just bizarre.

Like a lot of Fiserv / First Data office Columbus/Dublin has some Rockstars. All the people there I worked with there are great. Hoping for the best for my Ohio workers

Sounds like true leadership. No walks(breaks) until Morale improves.

They were so consumed with their “walks” that others lost their jobs because of performance. A lot haven’t forgotten about that. In a team environment everyone is needed. Very selfish people

I guess you could call it 'exercise'.

What is up with walking paths comments? God forbid anybody get a break or exercise from being chained to a laptop in a country where the obesity rate is approaching 50%! Fiserv USED to care about associate wellness. Now we have a warden.

"Walking paths" is a code word for having an affair at work.

Never seen people so obsessed with walking paths. The city of Dublin puts them everywhere as part of their development plan. More cities should try it.

Last message was Polaris office would open 4th quarter 2023. No walking paths unfortunately to be used during allowable breaks and lunches.

The old Dublin location has been sold to a logistics company and is being remodeled. The artist renderings look pretty nice. I don't even want to drive past it. As for the possibility of a new location in Ohio, all I see are rumors on this site.
