What are we getting paid for? RTO/REMOTE

You're not paying me to come into the office. You are paying me to accomplish tasks. A great many tasks can be completed outside of the office structure. This is about control and always has been.

Omaha is a nice place. I'll take Omaha over Alpharetta, Berkeley Heights or any other super crowded traffic jam location. You could not pay me enough to go there or anywhere similar. Feel free to mock me while sitting in your favorite transportation for 1-2 hours each way.

RTO for products that have not been in office for 7 years, eveyone is remote, no physical office is not a Return. Its modern day slave trade to sell people to Nebraska. They are buying because nobody would move there voluntarily.

He is a control freak. What will he do if Covid upticks again or some other issue?

It's also to justify office lease space and to maximize tax breaks because our CEO is a slave to the short term stock price instead of doing what is best for the company long term.

So glad I'm on my way out of here. Start my new job next week. Get out while you can folks!
