In mho renaming teams and reorganizing team leaders doesn’t really mean those teams will perform better. It probably means there has been some key attrition or someone has out-manuevered someone who actually had knowledge and skills.

Ah yes, the great rename all the groups. Let also rename them six different times in less than six months. Yes true story. Now nobody knows who to reach out to anymore. Oh then there is the renaming a year after that to something that makes NO sense to Anyone. Part of that ploy was to reduce tickets and start new stats. Hard for people to open tickets when they don't know Who TF you are.
When done correctly this works but needs to be mature and seasoned in processes and when it works its great but dont see it happening at FISV
Restructuring or reorganizing is a way to 'gain more efficiencies.' In my experience, it's often counterproductive when done too often. Oftentimes, it's another way to cut the fat or layoff more staff.
People have to relearn to trust their new management, and it's rarely presented in terms of what's in it for the employees.
It's also done immediately before or after a part of an acquisition or sale of a division. No matter what, reorganization is always disruptive until you figure out your role
