Waited for package but wasn’t displaced. Everyday I wake up miserably because of work. Just turned in two week notice and I feel the best I have in a couple years. Good luck to everyone wanting to be displaced. PTO first week and wrapping things up the following week. Couldn’t feel better!!

I was waiting to get laid off, too, and it didn’t happen. But my job and managers were getting more and more ridiculous by the day. My direct manager was so concerned about protecting herself that she threw me under the bus every chance she got. And then the senior management of our entire team got ousted in ugly ways by heartless vultures whose main focus is to outsource as many jobs to I & P as possible. My last day was a couple of weeks ago and I am feeling more like myself already. You’re welcome, Charlie.
Congrats. There is a time when the costs of quietly quitting (PTSD, opportunity, being bullied ) outweigh the costs of just quitting (severance). Keep us posted on your journey.
@1vge+1oọPEej. They own you your grand prize? LOL
Yeah right. I call Bull $hit.
Congrats.
Best of luck!
Severance. Period.
Good for you. I quit almost 4 months ago and do not regret it. I am still decompressing, recovering from PTSD and having nightmares about that SH.
I am not fu----g leaving! Keeping my eye on the prize. They owe me my severance for putting up with this sh-t for over 2 decades.
I’m hoping to find myself in a similar situation soon.
Good for you. I regret every moment I gave to that soul su-king shithole. I would rather sell coffee at Starbucks.
"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle."
"For the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: ‘If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?’ And whenever the answer has been ‘No’ for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something."
