Thanks, that is what I have been told by people in other locations, since was hired as a field rep (remote) that now has to go in. Basically if you don't work with anyone there go in the three days. My manager said 6hrs but they have no way to check it. Based on everything at my location, very few spend more than a few hrs at most. I am curious if the time of day matters, if only in for part of the day, the morning swipe in probably looks better than afternoon.

RTO is about driving attrition, propping up CRE, property tax breaks, and WF su-king politician d!#@. There's no other reason and any exec saying otherwise is a liar.
Manager here w access to the reporting. And yes, we can adjust filters to see our own data/reporting.
I had to go in to pick something up to work on from home. Badged in, picked up, left to work from home. Confirmed my 2 minutes in the office counted the next week in reporting.
For the record, I don't mind RTO. For my specific situation, it isn't a big deal.

Someone claiming to be a manager posted here about a month ago saying that the reports they get count someone as working in the office that day if they were badged in at least 6 hours in total.
We have no way of knowing if that's true or not, but it seems plausible. That's a long enough time period that it isn't reasonable to show up and just work until lunch, or alternately to just go in at lunch time and work to 5, but I guess 6 hours is better than 8 or 9.
Tech is weak AF, their budget is way too much. in the end, Ather signs off on anything.
I have no problem with going into the office if there are people I work with there. But if I drive 30 minutes, go in, sit by myself, go eat lunch by myself, then go home, what's the point? Every desk I sit in something doesn't work and is different. The only people I know are the cashiers in the cafeteria. No one looks me in the eye and says hi. I've had 4 different managers in a couple years, and they aren't in my location and the people I work with are not in my location. Put me with a team in my location or give me a package. I'll take it.
We have people coming in for ~3 hours a day when they have to come in. some are changing their "work locations" to avoid coming in at all. Both of these seem to work well. No layoffs as of yet.
This has nothing to do with Agile, this is a Wells Fargo thing.

Good. I have been back in office since last April I feel no pity for anyone just now having g these restrictions placed on them. Zero.

If some of the team members are located in different time zones, that's anti-agile. Real agile teams are all collocated. Granted, many global project teams in big companies are virtual teams nowadays, but you can't have your team split between the US and India, that's about 9-12 hours of difference. Wells Fargo technology leaders realized that they cannot be agile in that kind of setting, so they decided to collocate all the resources in one time zone (India). That's why the US members are gradually being replaced by the India counterparts.
Sorry but you can’t be Agile if half the team is overseas. This is just to prop up corp real estate. There is no collaboration in person. Lots of miserable faces though. Every time I go in I feel way worse about my job and the company

Has nothing to do with Agile. It has do do with butts in the chair to justify the real estate they own and to help drive the economy with people being in the office.
Spend 15 years remote. Worked fine. Job hasn't changed and being Agile with my team in other states is the same remote or in the office.
You think the knobs in charge are smarter than the people they replaced?
