Rumors say Tanzu is looking good and will be kept. Big interest with customers buying into TAP & Tanzu K8s, strong sales across those products this year. TAS remain the big earner returning $500+ million Y/Y.

No, because I worked with those k8s teams and they are total major àssholes of the first degree. Doesn’t help they make products that don’t solve real world customer problems , just the science project ones that they invent in their k8s fantasy land heads.

‘Tanzu’, or CNABU or MAPBU or MAMBG or whatever name they’re using now is probably ‘safe’ in the sense that Broadcom management will be able to make a successful business in the ‘cloud native’ space. However the current ‘leadership’ of that BU will be canned and hopefully all the ex Pivotal jokers along with them. The current products are an industry joke.
If Tanzu is safe, I hope their revenue increases. They do a lot of great marketing for little return.

You can sell it part of some package deal but hardly anyone is using it because it is shît. Wait until renewal time, this is a financially engineered blip.

Cloud Management pieces recently rolled into Tanzu for 2H, ex. Wavefront from Tanzu, to CM, now back to Tanzu. CM repackaged as Cloud Editions, and supposedly easier for core to sell without Specialist support. I believe CM folks are a big target, quite frankly

No offense, but I don't think Tanzu Services is a money maker. Not everyone in Tanzu is safe. There's no way this group is safe.
